1. About this service
Ghostmails is a free temporary email service operated from France. We provide disposable email addresses that allow users to receive emails anonymously for a limited period of time. By using Ghostmails, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Ghostmails generates temporary, disposable email addresses. These addresses can receive emails for a limited duration, after which the address and all associated emails are permanently deleted. The Service is entirely free, requires no registration, and generates revenue through third-party advertising.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use Ghostmails only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Service to:
- –Send, receive, or facilitate spam, phishing, fraud, or illegal communications.
- –Violate any applicable local, national, or international law.
- –Infringe upon the rights of any third party, including intellectual property rights.
- –Distribute malware, viruses, or any harmful code.
- –Engage in harassment, threats, or abusive behavior.
- –Impersonate any person or entity.
- –Interfere with or disrupt the Service or connected servers.
- –Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service beyond reasonable use.
- –Use the Service for any activity that could harm minors.
We reserve the right to block access for any user who violates these terms, without prior notice.
4. No guarantee of delivery
Ghostmails provides temporary email reception on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee that all emails sent to a temporary address will be received, delivered, or stored for any specific period. Some email providers may block emails sent to temporary email domains.
5. Email retention and deletion
Emails received by temporary addresses are stored for a limited time (as indicated in the UI) and then permanently deleted. Once deleted, emails cannot be recovered. We reserve the right to delete any email or address at any time for any reason, including abuse, excessive storage usage, or technical maintenance.
6. No expectation of privacy in email content
Temporary email addresses are inherently insecure. Anyone who knows or guesses a temporary email address can access its inbox. Do not use Ghostmails for sensitive, confidential, or critical communications.
We are not responsible for data loss, interception, or unauthorized access to emails received through the Service.
7. Intellectual property
All content, design, code, logos, and trademarks associated with Ghostmails are the property of the operator and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written consent.
8. Third-party advertising
The Service displays advertisements from third-party networks, including Adsterra and PropellerAds. We do not control the content of these advertisements and are not responsible for any products, services, or claims made by advertisers. Clicking on ads may redirect you to third-party websites governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Advertising formats may include banner ads, native ads, popunder ads, push notification opt-ins, and interstitial ads.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ghostmails and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption. Since the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim shall not exceed €0.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ghostmails and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.
